5 tips for designing a stylish Fall tablescape

Styling

Creating a Gender-Friendly Tablescape: Achieve a gender-neutral table setting by blending warm and cool colors.

Achieve a gender-friendly table setting by blending warm colors (orange, yellow, reds, and copper) with cool colors (blue and greens). Initially, Spectacular Affairs designer Farah used navy linen as the base. Subsequently, she alternates chargers in burnt orange or sage green. Next, she places a white dinner dish on these chargers. Finally, she tops it with a beautiful salad dish. The salad dish showcases navy blue, sage green, burnt orange, and yellow around its border.

The Power of Mixing Textures: How Metals, Crystal, Wood, Silk, and Cotton Add Depth to Table Settings.

Mix textures on the table: metals, crystal, wood, silk, and cotton add depth and style. Firstly, Spectacular Affairs begins with chiseled copper and silver flatware. Secondly, they introduce porcelain and handmade ceramic dining ware. Additionally, crystal stemware and lacquered chargers further enhance the look. Finally, silk tablecloths and cotton napkins complete the setting, adding texture and style.

Incorporating Warmth with Wood and Fire: Enhancing your table with wooden elements and candlelight.

To bring in warmth, include wood and fire in your table setting. Utilizing a tree trunk-like vase, copper candlesticks, and votive candles achieves this cozy atmosphere.

Fall-Themed Floral Arrangements: Crafting a centerpiece with a rich fall color palette.

The floral arrangement should reinforce the fall theme and color palette. Farah of Spectacular Affairs created a breathtaking centerpiece placed on a wooden tree trunk-like vase. Beautifully displayed are roses, green Cymbidium orchids, hydrangeas, copper amaranthus, green amaranthus tails, dusty miller, yellow coxcomb, and orange Gomaphrenia.

Cohesive Design through Finishing Touches: Tying together all elements for a unified tablescape look.

The finishing touches should complement all the elements on the table, creating a cohesive design. The wooden name tags tie in with the tree/wooden vase for the floral centerpiece. Furthermore, pumpkin-shaped place card holders in burnt orange or sage green match the chargers and enhance the salad plate. The copper candlesticks complement the copper flatware. Beautiful square crystal candlestick holders, surrounded by square glass votive holders, illuminate the crystal stemware.
